During an annual air source heat pump service, our engineer will assess both the heat pump unit outdoors and the cylinder indoors. Our engineer will carry out a series of checks and tests as required by the manufacturers including but not limited to –
- Filter Maintenance: Cleaning or replacing internal filters and checking system pressure
- Outdoor Unit Cleaning: Scrubbing away dirt, leaves and debris to optimize airflow
- Refrigerant Level Check: Verifying correct levels to prevent high energy bills and poor performance
- Electrical Inspection: Testing connections, relays and capacitors to avoid sudden system failure
- Component Lubrication: Oiling moving parts to eliminate friction and prevent wear and tear
- Thermostat Calibration: Checking settings so the system never runs longer than necessary
On completion of your heat pump service, we provide a comprehensive report with photos for your records to maintain your manufacturer’s warranty.
